Members of Best Western’s loyalty program, Best Western Rewards, can collect 10 points per 1 US Dollar used for accommodation (the conversion rate to other currencies is regularly fixed by Best Western.). From 1.1.2014 onwards this principle will still be valid, however Best Western hotels in Finland, the Baltic States and Poland are granting points to eligible room rates providing that reservations are booked via Best Western branded channels aka Best Western websites (e.g. bestwestern.com, bestwestern.fi, bestwestern.pl), Best Western’s toll-free line or directly to the Best Western hotel (phone, email or hotel’s website). Bookings via online travel agent consumer sites are not considered eligible for Best Western Rewards points.

BEST WESTERN PLUS Business Faltom has been opened in September 16th, 2013. The hotel is the fourth hotel in Pomorze district with excellent location: only 2 km away from the ring road of Trójmiasto and less than 25 km from the Lech Wałęsa Airport in Gdańsk Rębiechowo.
The three-star hotel offers 40 double rooms and 6 apartments. There is a bathroom with a tub, a 32-inch LCD TV with a multimedia function, a free WiFi access, a fridge, a safe and a work desk in every room. There are also some special facilities prepared for the families travelling with children.

At the beginning of next year the Best Western portfolio in Poland is expanding with a new hotel located in Wroclaw.
BEST WESTER PLUS Q Hotel Wrocław will be the second Best Western hotel in the Wroclaw, the capital of Dolny Śląsk. It will be also a fourth Best Western hotel operated by Dobry Hotel Group.
- Another contract with the same operator is a proof that our business model is working on the Polish market, says Gheorghe Marian Cristescu, Best Western Director for Poland. – It is no coincidence that we have second hotel in Wrocław. The city is one of the most business friendly places in Poland and it is now developing fast thanks to the title of European Capital of Culture. Millions of tourists are going to visit this city in 2016 due to this event – adds Cristescu.
The three star hotel is located on Zaolziańska 2 Street, less than 10 minutes from the main railroad station. The BEST WESTERN Q Hotel Wrocław offer is focused on the business clients, which is a specialty of the Dobry Hotel Group. The fully air-conditioned object will offer 127 rooms (6 of them can be joined together) and an apartment. The guests will be able to use free Wi-Fi, a safe and a coffee and tea set. An underground garage will be also build, with 23 parking spaces.
In the hotel lobby guests will find a bar and a restaurant. And on the first floor a conference center with a foyer is going to be located. It will include 3 big halls (80m2 each) for 200 people and two smaller conference rooms (25m2).

The new Best Western hotel will be located in the city center of Opole, at 17 Waryńskiego St., only 600 meters from the Old Town and 800 meters from the famous Opole Amphitheatre, where the biggest and the oldest National Polish Song Festival takes place. The 3-star hotel will offer 28 comfortable rooms and 2 apartments (altogether 61 accommodation places), parking space for 20 cars, restaurant and a pub. Additionally, it will provide a recreational area with sauna, spa bath and a massage room. The official opening of the hotel, that is currently under renovation, is planned for the fourth quarter of this year.
BEST WESTERN Agit Congress & SPA has joined to the World's Biggest Hotel Family as the 20th Best Western facility in Poland and second in Lublin Voivodeship, operating under Best Western brand.

The investor of a 3-star hotel, located at 29 Wojciechowska street in the city centre of Lublin, is Agit Translation Agency. Because of their business activities so far, they decided to equip all 21 rooms with the SITA learning system. Guests also have an opportunity to reserve individual conversations with native speakers. The facility offers a great conference and training area (altogether circa 600 m2). 5 conference rooms are equipped with a range of multimedia solutions (translatory cabins with infrared headsets, as well as voting and debates system dedicated to international conferences).
The hotel also offers something special to families travelling with children. There is a room with a specially designed interactive educational floor, which allows children to make themselves familiar with foreign languages while being taken care of by qualified teachers and native speakers. What is more, children and their parents can make use of a beautiful 1000-square-meter garden, in which they can find a playground with an obstacle course and football and volleyball pitches.
Additionally, the investor has taken care of the environment and installed its own sewage plant, an energy management system and solar panels.
At the beginning of summer Top Hotel, from the Mazowieckie Voivodeship, will be be relaunched as Best Western hotel. The hotel is located in Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki and currently undergoing a general make-over (including air conditioning, room equipment and restaurant design) after which the facility will become the first 3-star hotel in the surrounding area. The cost of the renovation is estimated at 2,000,000 PLN.
The hotel will be a convenient accommodation for air-travelers, because of the proximity to the Modlin Airport and a good railway connection with the Warsaw Chopin Airport.
The hotel will offer 64 comfortable, air conditioned rooms and three 'junior suit' rooms. Each one will be equipped with in an LCD TV, a radio, a telephone, a desk, a safe and a bathroom with a shower. There will be also special facilities for families with children and disabled guests. Wireless Internet will also be available everywhere in the hotel.
During the last seven months, three hotels in the Tri-city and one each in the Dolnośląskie, Lubelskie, Świętokrzyskie and Małopolskie Voivodeships have joined the Best Western hotel chain in Poland.
Currently, there are three Best Western hotels in Mazowieckie Voivodeship, located in different districts of Warsaw: BEST WESTERN Hotel Portos (Mokotów), BEST WESTERN Hotel Felix (South Praga) and BEST WESTERN Hotel Poleczki (Northern Ursynów).
BEST WESTERN Hotel Ferdynand has passed Best Western descriptor assessment and is now officially approved to operate as BEST WESTERN PLUS Hotel Ferdynand.
BEST WESTERN PLUS Hotel Ferdynand is located in the city center, 100 meters from the railway and bus stations and 11 kilometers from the airport in Jesionka. It provides 39 rooms with individually controlled air conditioning and free Internet access. It takes less than 5 minute walk to reach the Old Town, bustling with entertainment and cultural life. The hotel also has a conference space.

Since the opening of the hotel in November 2010, its services and amenities have been constantly enriched. Among others, a second conference room, a restaurant and a coffee bar were opened last year. Recently, the room service has been launched, too. In the Best Hotel Award 2012 plebiscite the hotel was recognized as the best hotel in Rzeszów.
Currently, four hotels in Poland operate under BEST WESTERN PLUS descriptor. It has already been announced that by the end of the year Chomiąża Park hotel, located near Bydgoszcz, will operate under the same brand as well.
In two months, the World’s Biggest Hotel Family will be joined by the facility in Cracow – RT Galicya hotel. It will be the second hotel from the RT Hotels chain – a part of Satoria Group S.A. - operating under Best Western brand.
Cracovian RT Hotels has decided to brand another hotel as Best Western because of the benefits that the company reported after BEST WESTERN Krakow Old Town (former RT Monopol) joined to the chain in October 2011. The RT Hotels representatives emphasize that cooperation with Best Western allows to meet the company’s business goals effectively.
– The functioning of BEST WESTERN Krakow Old Town hotel under Best Western brand has increased reservations by business and individual travellers. Because of Best Western brand, international companies chooses us as their hotel partner – says Anna Stefańczyk, Managing Director of RT Hotels.
The three-star RT Galicya hotel is located on the main route to Cracow, circa 3 kilometers from the city center and offers 63 comfortable rooms. The hotel also has a fully equipped, air conditioned conference room (up to 90 people) and a restaurant. Additionally it provides special amenities for families traveling with children.

Best Western in Poland starts year with 18 hotels - of which two are brand new members; one located in Lublin and the other in Kielce.
Both Łysogóry Hotel in Kielce and Korona Spa & Wellness Hotel in Lublin, have successfully passed Best Western assessments and thus are accepted to operate under Best Western brand. The two hotels provide in total over 200 rooms and apartments. Additionally Łysogóry Hotel has been recently undergoing modernization to meet the international requirements of the chain and changed its name to BEST WESTERN Grand Hotel.
"Last year was a time of intensive work for us. We managed to diversify our portfolio by adding facilities which have in their offers additional services like SPA or modern conference centers. Best Western, that is named the “Best Hotel Chain in Poland” in the Best Hotel Award 2012 plebiscite, had estimated to announce eight new member hotels in 2012, but eventually the chain signed in total 13 new agreements with some hotels to open in 2013 and some in 2014. Te Browar Mariacki Hotel is currently under renovation and it is to be open in 2013 as a three-star Best Western hotel. The hotel will have 46 rooms and a conference area. Its main attraction will be the brewery, connected with a restaurant, serving the regional food. The hotel will be located in an old town house in the center of the Katowice city (on the Mariacka Street) - one of the oldest and most popular parts of the city. It attracts both citizens and tourists, who come there to join artistic events or visit clubs and restaurants.
Before the World War II the building was occupied by the best and most popular hotel in the city – Europejski Hotel (later known as Śląski Hotel). After years the building fell into ruin and was closed in the 90s. The tender for the constructor will start at the beginning of 2013. Costs of the modernization process are estimated at nearly 10 million PLN.

In the second edition of the Best Hotel Award plebiscite, Best Western has been appreciated by its guests and won the first prize in the "Best Hotel Chain" category. Additionally, Best Western Krakow Old Town, has been recognized for second year in a row as the best hotel in the category of 1-3 star hotels in Krakow. What's more, Best Western Hotel Ferdynand won the first place in the "Best Hotel in Rzeszow" category. At the end of the year the World's Biggest Hotel Family will be joined by the biggest conference center in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodship – the three star Łysogóry Hotel.
The hotel, located in the city centre of Kielce, provides guests nearly 150 rooms (including 4 apartments), 2 restaurants, a café, 2 car parks, a shopping arcade and a wide offer of additional services. Besides hotel offers a car rental, a casino, a music club and a SPA zone with fitness and massage zones and a steam bath.
The main advantage of the hotel's offer is the biggest in the region conference center with 4 fully equipped rooms (up to 1000 people). The experience of the hotel staff has already been appreciated by organizers of several big, international conferences, like the first edition of "Eastern Poland Business Forum".
In recent years the Łysogóry Hotel has undergone a process of modernization. Costs of its last stage are estimated at nearly 10 million PLN. The part of the amount came from the funding from the Regional Operational Programme of Świętokrzyskie Voivodship, that hotel got in 2010.
The Łysogóry Hotel will start operating under Best Western brand at the end of December 2012.
Anna Świeżewska has been appointed as the Key Account Manager of Best Western Hotels Finland, Baltic States and Poland.
She joined the Best Western team in September and she is responsible for the sales support for the chain’s facilities in Poland (the leisure and business segment) and cooperation with global Best Western’s offices. She will also consult the newly joined hotels. Anna Świeżewska is reporting directly to Gheorghe Marian Cristescu, the Country Sales Director of Best Western Hotels Finland, Baltic States and Poland.
Anna Świeżewska graduated from the Warsaw School of Economics (specialization - Economics of Tourism). She has over 15 years long experience in the hotel industry. Best Western appreciated her strong background and experience on the local market gained by working with international chains such as Holiday Inn, Novotel and Sofitel.
Best Western International recently asked Facebook users to cast their votes for the first-ever Fan Awards on the Best Western Facebook page. Best Western's more than 4,000 hotels from around the world were encouraged to submit nominations in categories ranging from Most Unique Hotel to Best View from a Hotel Room and a panel of travel industry experts reviewed the nominations and selected the five finalists for each category.
More than 30,000 Facebook users answered the call voting for their favorite hotel in each category and the winners are:
