Best Western International is launching two major new hotel development offerings – a stylish new hotel concept and a soft brand – both designed to meet growing demand for new hotel offerings in urban and primary markets.
Best Western’s newest hotel offering, V b (pronounced Vibe), is a stylish and technology-centric hotel concept created to meet the needs of today’s connected traveler.
Vīb, which is short for “Vibrant,” is a hotel prototype designed for urban markets. Vīb’s high-density concept will be cost-effective to build and operate, making it an attractive option for owners and developers.
The boutique Vīb concept features vibrant and modern design with a focus on convenience, technology and social engagement. V b hotels will have large, interactive lobbies that incorporate the local flavor of their individual markets, as well as comfortable and chic guest rooms. Guests will find ample USB and power ports for electronics, a media wall with custom content in the lobby, smart TVs in the rooms to stream on-demand content, and LED mood lighting throughout the hotel.
The BW Premier Collection will consist of carefully selected high-quality hotels in primary markets. All of the soft brand properties will be required to maintain a TripAdvisor rating of four or above and AAA/CAA rating (in North America) of three Diamond or above.
Hotels within the BW Premier Collection will not be part of the official Best Western membership but they will be listed, and can be booked, on the Best Western website. Guests will be able to earn and redeem Best Western Rewards® (BWR) points at all BW Premier Collection hotels. BW Premier Collection hotels will also have the option of purchasing additional Best Western brand services such as design and sales support.

Both Vīb and the BW Premier Collection will be global offerings, targeted at urban and destination markets around the world. Best Western already has nearly 400 properties in the brand’s global development pipeline, with areas of focus being Central and South America, Asia, and the Middle East, and the new offerings are expected to increase penetration in high-demand markets.

BEST WESTERN PLUS Q Hotel Wrocław has been shortlisted as one of five nominees for the Hotel Market Investment of the Year award, presented in the Prime Property Prize 2014 competition. The winners will be announced on 22 September 2014.
The four-star BEST WESTERN PLUS Q Hotel Wrocław was opened in early May 2013. After Best Western Hotel Prima, it is the second hotel of the Best Western network in Wrocław. The hotel offers 127 air-conditioned rooms and one apartment. Business travellers can enjoy 5 conference halls, free Wi-Fi access in the entire facility as well as first-class service in several restaurants and bars. Tourists visiting Wrocław will in turn appreciate the convenient location of the hotel, in the vicinity of the Market Square and the railway station.

Prime Property Prize 2014 is already the third edition of the competition. In the first one, organised in 2012, Best Western won two awards. Gheorghe Marian Cristescu was declared the Person of the Year Prime Property Prize 2012, and BEST WESTERN Hotel Portos won in the Hotel Market Investment of the Year category.
One of the aims of the Prime Property Prize 2014 competition is to honour companies and projects which had the greatest contribution to the development of the commercial property market in the last year. "The Hotel Market Investment of the Year category, in which our hotel has been nominated, judges the project in terms of its quality, innovativeness, architecture and the impact of the investment on the regional economy. I believe that those are strong qualities of BEST WESTERN PLUS Q Hotel Wrocław, therefore I am anxious to hear the results," says Daniel Łukaszewicz, Business Development Director at the Dobry Hotel Group which manages the hotel.
The formal gala to announce the results of the competition and Prime Property Prize 2014 award ceremony will be held on 22 September 2014 in Warsaw.
The newest Best Western hotel in Poland is being built in a city of Brzeg, the fourth largest city in the Opolskie voivodeship, located only 42 km away from Wroclaw. The facility in a higher PLUS standard is expected to open in April 2015 and supplement the near Galeria Brzeg shopping center offer.
BEST WESTERN PLUS Hotel Brzeg is going to be located in the historical city center, close to amphitheater, the Old Town, the Piastow Slaskich Castle and the St. Jadwiga Cathedral, on Wroclawska 5 Street. It will be a part of already existing Galeria Brzeg, the city's newest and very popular shopping center.
The hotel will be easily accessible by train - the nearest railway station is located 3 km from the site – and by car - the distance to the A4 Highway is approximately 20 km. Also Wroclaw Copernicus International Airport can be reached within 60 minutes car drive.
The hotel will offer 60 rooms equipped accordingly with the Best Western PLUS high standard. It will include a separate conference space designed especially for business guests, which will offer four meeting rooms. In addition, the hotel will provide a restaurant, a lobby bar and a fitness center. The facility is expected to open in April 2015.

Members of Best Western’s loyalty program, Best Western Rewards, can collect 10 points per 1 US Dollar used for accommodation (the conversion rate to other currencies is regularly fixed by Best Western.).
