Ecofriendly travelling tips
- Use only one towel even if there would be more available.

- Often bath room has a sign that informs the hotel’s towel reuse policy; follow the guidelines if you want to continue to use the towel for more than a day.
- Switch off TV, radio and lights when leaving the room.
- Remember to remove the mobile phone/laptop charger when the charging process is complete.
- Showering instead of bathing helps to save water.
- When you brush teeth or shave, close the tap.
- Do not use toilet as rubbish bin.
- Do not change the room temperature settings.
- Use aircondition only when it is necessary.
- Use stairs instead of elevator.
- At the restaurant choose food with local ingredients.
- Instead of a TV night, ask reception for the walking maps or jogging routes. In Europe hotels tend to have bikes for guest to loan; in Finland some hotels also loan Nordic Walking sticks for their guests!
- If possible, pack wool socks with you; winter can be suprisingly cold not only in Scandinavia but also in Mediterranean countries. Socks keep you warm and help you to relax!
