The first hotel in Lithuania, belonging to the Worldwide International BEST WESTERN Hotel chain – 4 star property BEST WESTERN Hotel Santakos is located in the very heart of Kaunas - at the confluence of the City Centre and the Downtown, in a calm J.Gruodzio street.

The building was designed in 1896 as the Tsar’s wine cellar. Red-brick exterior of the building emphasizes the homelike atmosphere of the interior, where rational forms with classical elements and features of the history are prevailing: wooden café beams, decorative stoves fire places, nice art works of ceramic.  Interior of the hotel is sure authentic and snug, decorated with smith ironware and unique pieces of art.

92 cosy and spacious hotel rooms are equipped for business and leisure purposes. Here you will find the basic amenities and more: air-condition system, luxurious bathrooms with heated floor, satellite and Pay TV, mini bar, hair dryer, personal safety box and free wireless Internet connection, desk and chair for working. Some bathrooms have Jacuzzi.

All rooms are equipped with comfortable king size or twin beds. Full buffet breakfast is included into the room rates. 50% of the hotel rooms are non-smoking.

Guests travelling with pets are always welcome – we’ll accommodate you at our spacious rooms with no extra charge for the pet!

Restaurant

Delicious buffet breakfast is served daily from 7 AM until 10 AM (until 11 AM on weekends).

Our restaurant Europa is designed in contemporary European style. For guests’ convenience it offers the whole service package under one roof – a solid and delicious breakfast and meals, pleasant and cosy atmosphere, evergreen “Winter garden”. Restaurant Europa is well known both for its gourmet cuisine and perfect banqueting services.

Restaurant is open until midnight.
