Amenities

The hotel offers 168 air-conditioned rooms including a luxurious suite as well as executive rooms and room for disabled people. All rooms are provided with LCD TV sets, mini bars, safes with socket adapted for laptop storing and Internet access. In the bathroom our guests have at their disposal a bathtub or shower, hairdryer and a cosmetic mirror. Buffet breakfast is included in the room rates.

Restaurant

Adam Gessler’s Authorial Restaurant serves dishes of Silesian and Polish cuisine. New menu comprises only fresh dishes, not frozen. Dishes are served by cooks straight from a frying pan or pot to a warm plate. Every morning a diversified breakfast is available and scrambled eggs, omelette, sausages are served by cooks straight from the frying pan.  We bake fresh bakery products every day according to a traditional recipe.

Meetings

The guests who wish to organize conferences, banquets or parties will find four fully- equipped conference rooms covering the area of 200 square meters. Each conference room can additionally be lit with daylight and is provided with  manually controlled air-conditioning, loud-speaking and light systems as well as multimedia overhead projectors, internet and telephone links. The spacious conference foyer is ideal for coffee breaks, art openings and exhibitions.

The hotel offers free Wi-Fi internet, Internet points and  library. There is a car park and bus parking place. After a hard day’s work our guests can relax at the hotel fitness centre equipped with dry and steam saunas, and take advantage of stationary aerobic devices and gym. Additionally it’s possible to rent a bike or Nordic walking sticks and practice outdoor activities in park situated in vicinity of the hotel.

The city centre of Katowice itself is a mix of modern skyscrapers and Modernist and Art Nouveau buildings, notably the Cathedral in Katowice and Drapacz Chmur, one of Europe's first skyscrapers. Other historic buildings worth seeing include St. Stephen's Church, Silesian Insurgents Monument, the Silesian Library, and the Goldstein Palace.

The hotel is close to both Katowice and Chorzów city centres. Katowice Airport (Pyrzowice) within 30 kilometres is active hub between international and domestic flights. Katowice is also one of the major hubs for trains with connections to Wroclaw, Prague and Vienna.
